The core competency of my work will continue to be mechanics and fracture, with focal points of degradation, automation, laser-material interaction, and simulation across physical processes and scales (DFT electronic structure to real components).

The University of Canterbury is situated in a palm tree climate, 20min from the beach and 40min from snowcapped mountains.
