Dear Dr. Onck,
My name is Gautam Sagar, currently working at the Institut für Baumechanik und Numerische Mechanik, Leibniz Universität Hannover, under the supervision of Professor Erwin Stein and expecting to get my doctorate by August 2009. I am looking for a postdoc position in computational mechanics from September 2009.
The subject of my research is Non-linear theory and adaptive finite element of martensitic phase transformation with technical applications. Therein mono- and polycrystalline material models are developed and implemented in Abaqus via UMAT subroutine. Therein, a Zienkiewicz-Zhu type error indicator for phase transformation is also developed to have a error-controlled adaptivity in time and space for model verification and validation.
May I kindly know whether the position is still free? May I also ask you what are the documents required to apply for the position and when one can start the job?
For preliminary information you can also visit:

Wish you a nice week ahead!
Best regards,
Gautam Sagar
