Hi

I use FEMFAT to predict the fatigue life of welded structures. FEMFAT can take the effect of plastic strain on fatigue life but the stress results should imported from ABAQUS or LS-DYNA. Since I've simulated the welding process in ANSYS, I want to know that is there any way to convert ANSYS results(file.RST) to ABAQUS(file.ODB) or LS-DYNA results(file.d3plot).

I am working on my M.s.a thesis about Numerical simulation of fatigue strenght of resistance spot welding joints of coated thin.At first I need to model a steel palte with three different coating on it and apply a thermal analysis to achive to residual stress distribution.I couldent find any journal or paper in this field and dont know from where i should exactly start my simulation in ANSYS.can you help me?
