You will need to work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team and present project progress to various internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

The candidate may work on any of the following:

  • Understand the design, manufacturing, and operation of the products you perform Modeling and Simulation on
  • Gather project-related information through internal and external sources
  • Develop high-fidelity physics-based models and their reduced-order versions
  • Integrate various models developed in different software environments into a system model to enable co-simulation and accurately predict the performance and health condition of a physical asset
  • Process, analyze, and infuse sensor data into models for off-line or real-time calibrations
  • Develop data-driven models with machine learning techniques
  • Develop scripts to link different pieces of information and automate repetitive tasks
  • Deliver results per defined key project milestones along with team members and collaborators
  • Present project progress updates to stakeholders and management
  • Develop domain expertise and share knowledge with peers and the engineering community

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Petroleum Engineering with a specialty in Applied Mechanics; a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Fresh-out graduates or experienced professionals are welcome to apply. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in model-based firmware development, system modeling, and scientific programming (C/C++, MatLab Simulink, Python, Modelica) is essential.
  • Solid knowledge of Ansys or ABAQUS is the best to have. Experience in other commercial codes for Computational Mechanics is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of sensor technologies, controls, data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, and cloud computing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Autonomous and creative approach towards challenging problems.
