Run ABAQUS subroutines written in Fortran
Dear colleagues,
I am a beginner in using ABAQUS subroutines, and currently come into the problem of running ABAQUS subroutines written in Fortran.
I have installed ABAQUS 6.11-1, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and Intel Visual Fortran Studio XE 2011 on my computer. However, when I run the test codes, there are the following errors:

Abaqus Error: Problem during linking - Abaqus/Standard User Subroutines.
This error may be due to a mismatch in the Abaqus user subroutine arguments.
These arguments sometimes change from release to release, so user subroutines
used with a previous release of Abaqus may need to be adjusted.
Abaqus/Analysis exited with errors
If you are familiar with ABAQUS subroutines and know where the problem probably lies in, could you please help me with it? Your help is greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Sincerely yours,
Jingwen

It looks like you have a problem with Intel Fortran compiler. Make sure you install the right version.
Kewei, Thanks for the
Kewei,
Thanks for the reply. The problem is now solved by installing VS version 2008 and Intel Fortran version 11.1. I also met several other errors after installing the compatible software, and finally solved the problems by following the instructions in these posts:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/troubleshooting-fortran-integration-issues-with-visual-studio/
http://polymerfem.com/showthread.php?1602-Abaqus-error-message-quot-LINK-is-not-recognized-quot

Hope those who met the same problem with mine can get helpful infomation there.

Jingwen
