Postdoc opening in cardiac biomechanics modeling at UCLA

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our research team in the field of cardiac biomechanics and heart failure with a position at the level of Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles.他们将使用多学科小组mentored by Dr. Lihua Jin (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering), Dr. Ashley Stein-Merlob (Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine) and Dr. Alan Garfinkel (Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Department of Integrative Biology and Physiology) to develop new computational models of cardiac contraction and disease states.

Requirements:

·PhD in mechanical engineering, computational biology, or related field

·Strong background in computational mechanics or biomechanics

·Experience in finite element modeling of soft materials or biomechanics.

Duration and renumeration:

This is a full-time, fully funded position with an initial appointment of two years. The salary will be based on the University of California postdoctoral pay scale.
