Graduate positions at Universidad EAFIT-Colombia

The applied mechanics group through its research lines in Seismic Engineering and Computational Mechanics is offering three graduate student positions at the MsC and PhD levels to conduct research in projects related to:

• Dispersive behavior of materials.
• Topographic effects in earthquake engineering.
• Attenuation of seismic waves via periodic micro-structures.

The selected candidates will benefit from full tuition payment and a monthly stipend for living expenses. Candidates with a strong background in geophysics, numerical analysis and most general in applied mechanics are encouraged to apply. For further information please contact professor Juan Gomez
