工业国家的许多研究者认为第三世界研究者的唯一问题是钱，但事实并非如此。我在其中一个第三世界国家做了四年的研究员。

计算和理论研究不像依赖实验室的研究那样需要很多钱。因为免费软件和开源软件变得流行(不幸的是，这些国家的版权法不严格)。许多实验工作也可以在这些大学的现有设施。我们的许多毕业生现在在加州理工学院、斯坦福大学、麻省理工学院、普林斯顿大学、哈佛大学、约翰霍普金斯大学学习，与第三世界许多大学的讲座相比，那里的讲座真的很好。有很多活跃的硕士和博士学生渴望研究。他们花在研究人员身上的时间比工业化国家多，因为他们没有任何其他事情可做!!!!。我认为在中国也是一样的。

主要问题是Mission和topic。他们不知道该做什么。他们不知道科学社会想知道什么。他们不知道该怎么办。 some times they just download paper. validate it, change the parameters or add new parameters and then try to publish it. they spend their money and time on papers who no one reads them. when they see their research has no impact they dont like to spend more money and time. if you comprise number of published papers and number of citations for example of iran you will believe what i am saying.

Imechanica can help improving the quality of research by introducing questions which scientific society likes to know their answer. and their researches will find. of course there are many points hidden in review papers but if it be more specified in categorized manner it would be more helpful.
