Hiring four (4) new PhD students to join us at MACHINA: the new TUDelft AI lab that I am leading.
Each position is unique and has different co-advisors. Pick wisely ;)
I'm recruiting Ph.D. students (fully funded) to join my research group in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University (USU). The admitted students will work on computational studies of functional materials (energy storage materials/functional polymers) to (i) elucidate the underlying physics of materials deformation and failure, (ii) design new materials, and (iii) design for manufacturing. The research will be at the intersection of multiscale computations and data-driven modeling (Uncertainty Quantification & machine learning).
Admission requirements can be found at https://engineering.usu.edu/mae/students/graduate/apply.
Interested candidates, please send an email to haoran.wang@usu.edu with your CV and transcript.
