PhD Opportunity—Continuum mechanics & Numerical methods

Brief.Full-time PhD positions on the general theme of "Auxetics" and "Composites" are available (AuxeticsLab). Themes are shaped around fibre-reinforced composites, auxetics, and other structured materials.

Minimum Requirements.High GPA (>85%) and a track record of high quality relevant publications (minimum one first-author journal paper).

Preferred skills.Skills in continuum mechanics (classic or generalised) and numerical methods (FE or phase-field FE) are desired. Manufacturing skills are also considered.

Location.Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus, Australia.
