Faculty Positions in Solid Mechanics, Utah State University

The Deparement of Mechanical and Aerospace EngineeringatUtahStateUniversityinvites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants should have research background and teaching interests inSolid Mechanicsand/orThermal Sciences. Possible application areas could include, but are not limited to,biotechnology, aerospace, energy systems (including nuclear), nanotechnology, or other emerging areas.

The successful candidates must have the ability to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop an active and significant externally funded research program, and to collaborate synergistically with existing faculty.优先考虑在assi申请者stant professor level but outstanding candidates at the associate professor level with a strong track record of research will be considered. Applicants must have B.S. and earned Ph.D. or Sc.D. degrees in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
