Call for Abstract SEM 2017: Shock and Blast

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit an abstract for the Shock & Blast session under track 1'Dynamic Behavior of Materials'. This symposium is part of the 2017 SEM Annual Conference & Exposition on Experimental and applied Mechanics to be held at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN, USA, June 12-15, 2017.

This session is intended to provide a forum to present and discuss recent developments in the experimental methods, analysis and high-rate response of materials and structures subjected to shock or blast loading. All types of materials and structures are of interest (metals, ceramics, glass, composites, foams, sandwich, concrete, biological tissues, etc…).

Please submit a short abstract (200 words or less) by the deadline,October 17, 2016. Please indicate the session organizer in your submission to ensure your abstract is submitted to the right track.
