Hi there!
I have just seen your message now. To run the program in MATLAB, you have to create a M-FILE (click on file and select new M-file), paste the program and look for Run on the bar menu and click on it...hope this will help...
I have 2 papers published using these programs:
1. vibration analysis of a variable blade length wing turbine
2. modal testing of a simplified wind turbine blade

Thank you for posting this program , I'm intresting in subject of finite element method by using Mathlab specialy in Vibration of plate i found this program is qute close to find the natural frequencies of wing as my study is Aviation engennering,
but my probelm is I am not good in using Mathlab could you please show me how to run this program i copied in the mathlab and started to run but i don't know how??

why have you put the young's modulus in mN/mm^2 (206e+6) instead of N/mm^2 (206e+3), is this just a mistake?
